Mysophilia is a fetish and also known as a paraphilia in which one is sexually aroused by being physically dirty or being in dirty surroundings. In simple terms, this is getting horny from smelling, chewing or rubbing against dirty underwear.

There are a number of variants of this:

• Pornographic magazines have long contained advertisements for "used" women's underwear .
• Some find the dirty footwear of the sex to which they are attracted erotic.
